Same Nadi, Different Paths: Will Our Kundali Match Affect Our Marriage?
Nadi Dosha & Impacts on Marriage

- As Science had established that when two people having the same genes marry and reproduce, these once dormant recessive (ineffective) genes double, making them more likely to cause genetic abnormalities in children.
- There is a similar concept in Astrology. There are certain Nakshatra attributes which tells that both the individual are of same mother/source in the universe. So, ideally they should avoid marriage with each other. It is completely inauspicious in terms of their relationship and health of progeny. Finding this relationship in the couple is termed as Nadi Dosha.
- There are 3 types of Nadi which are Adi, Madhya and Ant. When both the individual have same nadi, then it is called Nadi Dosha. When both the individual have Madhya nadi then it is called Madhya Nadi Dosha.
- There are total 27 Nakshatras. Every Nakshatras has 4 padas. Every Nakshataras has a nadi in it’s characterstics. Some Nakshatras are of Adi nadi, some are of Madhya nadi and some are of Ant nadi in their characteristics.
- Many Astrologers tells in every third chart that there are Nadi Dosha in horoscopes matching using various methods and interpret it differently. But this is not truth. It is a very rare combination.
- So, first step is to get rechecked for Nadi Dosha by any astrologer for second opinion just in case to be sure.
- If there will be Nadi dosha, then the couple will feel repulsive towards each other. They will not have attraction for each other. There may be an impact on progeny.
- I have also seen many couples whose Nadi are same but still have healthy relation and healthy children. There are other aspects in the horoscope which have to be looked upon for specifics.
Finally , the choice is with the couple to go ahead or not for the marriage.
