Neech Bhang Raj Yoga: The Astrological Blessing of Rising from Adversity

Part- I: What is Neech Bhang Raj Yoga ?

• “Neech“means debilitated.
• Suppose that planet ‘A’ is debilitated in ‘Z’ zodiac sign and planet B either :

1. Sits with that debilitated planet ‘A’ or
2. Aspects that debilitated planet ‘A’

• But, if planet ‘B’ is exalted in that ‘Z’ zodiac sign or planet ‘B’ should be the lord of that ‘Z’ zodiac sign.

Then this planetary placement is called Neech Bhang Raj Yoga.

If I have to explain it in simple terms, lets take an example of Movie Kyunki Main Jhoot Nahi Bolta

1. Criminal/Villain in this movie wins every case because of support of an intelligent lawyer.
2. 6th house represents disputes and court cases. This Neech Bhang Raj yoga of that particular criminal should be in their 6th house.
3. Here, criminals are creating disputes instead of solving the disputes. They are not good in dealing with 6th house issues. This means that there can be a planet which is debilitated in 6th house.
4. But ,still they wins every court case against them. This shows that there is some other planet which is present in the same house which is exalted there. That planet is that intelligent lawyer Govinda with them.

Part- II : Understanding Through An Example – How a Debilitated Mercury can give Neech Bang Raj Yoga.

1. If Pisces Mercury is conjunct with Jupiter.
2. If Pisces Mercury is conjunct with Venus.
3. If Pisces Mercury is aspected by Jupiter.
4. If Pisces Mercury is aspected by Venus.

Here Mercury in Pisces sign is debilitated (neech). Jupiter is the lord of Pisces sign. Venus exalts in Pisces sign. Therefore, Jupiter or Venus, any of them can bhang neechta of Pisces Mercury.

Part-III : Every Planet Gets Debilitated Or Exalted In A Zodiac Sign

1. Moon Debilitated in Scorpio. This means that it’s very difficult for the mind of that person to work with dark energies.
2. Moon Exalted in Taurus. This means it’s very easy for the mind of that person to work in pleasant atmosphere.
3. Sun Debilitated in Libra. This means that its very difficult for the king in that person to work with cooperation.
4. Sun Exalted in Aries. This means that it’s very easy for the king in that person to work as an single authority.
5. Saturn Debilitated in Aries. This means that its become very difficult for a balanced person to work with selfish people.
6. Saturn Exalted in Libra. This means that it’s become very easy for a balanced person to work in the cooperative atmosphere.
7. Mercury Debilitated in Pisces. This means that it’s very difficult for the person to work in space where there is no mode of communication.
8. Mercury Exalted in Virgo. This means that it’s become very easy for the person to work in an environment where there are all sort of facilities to pass the information as it is.
9. Venus Debilitated in Virgo. This means that its become very difficult for a person to love his/her partner who always use their logical mind.
10. Venus Exalted in Pisces. This means that it’s become very easy for a person to love his/her partner who have devotion in their mind.
11. Mars Debilitated in Cancer. This means that its become very difficult for a soldier in that person to work in kitchen type place.
12. Mars Exalted in Capricorn. This means that it’s very easy for a soldier in that person to follow orders without putting more efforts in using one’s own wisdom.
13. Jupiter Debilitated in Capricorn. This means that it’s become very difficult for a Guru in that person to follow orders without using one’s own wisdom.
14. Jupiter Exalted in Cancer. This means that it’s become very easy for a Guru in that person to use wisdom to maintain positivity in the mind.

Part- IV: Example Through The Birth Chart

In this birth chart-

Sun is sitting in its debilitated sign Libra in 11th house. 11th house is the house of social/network circle. Venus which is the lord of Libra sign is also sitting with Sun.

• In simple terms, here an individual wants to be the king(Sun) of his/her social/network circle(11th house). But the nature of that person’s social circle is not allowing his/her authority over them. Therefore ,that person lacks confidence(Libra Sun).
• But, if he/she joins the social circle of females specially where the atmosphere is feminine(Libra Sign). If he/she also respect females and do justice in his social circle. Then, those ladies/feminine figures will treat that person like a king/authority. Therefore, his confidence will rise there.
• 11th house is also the house of wealth and gains through the hard work. He/she will also increase his/her wealth and get good gains of his/her hard work through the feminine figures.

In this way ,Venus will bhang neechta of Sun. Then ,it will be called Neech Bhang Raj Yoga.
